Product stewardshipThe manufacturers’ and distributors’ responsibility for recycling-oriented products comprises the development, manufacturing process, distribution up to the targeted take-back and, as far as possible, recycling. Specific ordinances concerning recycling economy put these requirements in concrete terms:Packaging Ordinance, BattV, AltautoV, ElektroG, AltölV etc. Together, we will find the right way to implement the complex requirements within your company as well as with your suppliers and distibutors on a national and international level: no matter whether it is the ascertainment of product features such as packaging data, the documentation of the materials stream or the participation in individual compliance schemes and/or the examination of the mass flow verification. The materials stream management comprises the planning and control of material and energy streams; environmentally and cost relevant features are recorded and entered in the balance sheet. The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and the Life Cycle Costing (LCC) pursue a related approach which, however, analyses a product’s environmental and cost balance throughout its whole life cycle.
